On behalf of the Deputy Chief of Staff G-2 (Intelligence) at the US Army
Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC G-2), we would like to invite members
of the World Future Society National Capital Region Chapter to our Winter
2009 Future Operational Environment Seminar 17-19 March, 2009 at the Renaissance
Hotel in Portsmouth, Virginia.  The purpose of the seminar is to identify
factors and trends that will define the Future Operational Environment in
the 2025-2030 timeframe and their implications for society and national
defense.

The seminar will broaden our understanding of the Future Operational
Environment by bringing together a diverse cross-section of recognized
experts in various fields of endeavor.  We have particular needs for
futurists who have expertise in the fields of Economics, Physical
Environment, Technology, Society & Culture, and Governance.  We feel
participation by members of the WFS National Capital Region Chapter will
help ensure the success of the seminar.

 

Those interested in participate need to be contact me. I will review your information with my chain-of-command to get the OK for your participation. The Seminar Agenda and Administrative Instructions will be sent out when they become available.
